About Me

Hi, I'm Evie Blenkhorn, Licensed Practical Nurse and the owner of One Step At A Time Foot Care Clinic.

My journey to becoming a foot care nurse began with a personal struggle. In 2015, I injured my back, which left me unable to walk without assistance. Simple tasks, like reaching my own feet, became impossible. I remember standing there, looking down at my feet, wishing I cold care for them but feeling completely helpless.

With my husband's support and a long road of therapy, I slowly regained my mobility, but that experience changed me. It showed me how essential healthy feet are for independence, and it sparked my passion for helping others avoid that same struggle. I know what it feels like to be in pain and to rely on others, and I don't want anyone else to feel that way if I can help it.

That's why I'm here - to give you healthier, happier feet. 'Because I know how hard it can be to reach your feet and have trouble walking. I work to give you healthier, happier feet, when you can't reach them or can't care for them, so that you will walk better and longer.'

Every Step I take with my clients is a step towards comfort, independence, and confidence. I can't wait to help you feel your best, one step at a time.
